What You Will Do: The Procurement Specialist will focus on supply chain activities; specifically procurement activities for Non-Product Procurement at the North Berwick Mod Center and serves as the focal across Pratt & Whitney for procurement needs.

• Responsible for issuing requests for proposals, source selection, issuing purchase orders and managing vendors for goods and services to support Pratt & Whitney’s needs along with delivery assurance.
• Work closely with project managers to forecast needs and find supply chain solutions that meet their project schedule and budget requirements.
• Work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Managers to develop & execute strategies to lower costs across all P&W sites globally.
• Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.
• Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill account needs, responds to client issues or problems, authorizes purchase orders and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
• Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices; analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of experience in a business operations, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply chain or related environment OR an Associates degree and 7 or more years of experience in a business operations, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply chain or related environment
• In absence of a degree, 9 or more years in a business operations, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply chain or related environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Experience working in an environment with constantly fluctuating priorities

Qualifications

We Prefer:

• A degree in Supply Chain and/or MBA
• Supply chain experience in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
