We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, NY office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Budget/Forecast (Content Licensing and Affiliate Revenue)
- Prepare detailed 5-year financial revenue and cash models.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and databases.
- Analyze close results and trends and prepare monthly close package.
- Help prepare annual Budget LRP and reports for senior management.
- Perform financial analysis of proposed economics.
- Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree.
- Analyze subscriber and financial history.
- Improve and maintain process for tracking and reporting content licensing sales.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support the distribution business, as necessary.
- Develop an understanding of AMCN distribution products and their position in the marketplace.
- Research and summarize industry trends to inform forecast as well as renewal strategy.
Qualifications (Required & Preferred)
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years experience in Financial Analytics
- Prior experience with financial modeling is required.
- Prior budget or forecast experience is required.
- Prior experience within the Media industry preferred.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Extremely diligent with a high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in high pressure situations.
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of work.
- Must be a creative problem solver and a quick thinker.
The base compensation for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience.
