Key Responsibilities

  • * Provide prompt and efficient technical support for American Airlines customers and internal teams through remote channels (phone, email, chat).
  • * Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues related to flight bookings, online check-in, and account management.
  • * Assist customers in navigating the American Airlines website and mobile applications.
  • * Coordinate with other departments (operations, IT, and customer service) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • * Handle and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams while maintaining timely follow-up with customers.
  • * Log and document customer interactions in the system accurately.
  • * Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality customer experiences.
  • * Maintain confidentiality of customer information and comply with all data protection regulations.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree is preferred but not required).
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • * Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • * Basic technical knowledge, especially in using customer service tools and systems (experience with ticketing systems is a plus).
  • * Proficient in using computers and navigating web-based systems.
  • * Customer-focused with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Experience
  • * Previous experience in customer support, call center, or technical support roles is highly preferred.
  • * Familiarity with the airline industry or travel-related services is an advantage but not essential.
  • * Prior experience working in a remote or part-time capacity will be considered a plus.
  • Working Hours
  • * Part-time, flexible schedule.
  • * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • * Shifts are typically 4 6 hours per day with the possibility of overtime based on business requirements.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • * Strong knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
  • * Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) are highly desirable but not mandatory.
