About the Role: Patient Engagement Partner - Part-Time Remote We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Patient Engagement Partner to join our Access Center team on a part-time basis. As a remote position, you'll work flexible evening and weekend shifts to provide exceptional patient experiences and support our clinical partners. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and perform a variety of actions, including scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments within established time frames and protocols. Use expert questioning techniques to determine how requests should be handled and coordinate services as needed. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy and compliance. Create a positive patient experience at every encounter, resolving issues and concerns within the scope of your role. Manage and work referral work queues, providing supplemental inbound patient call support during high-volume times. Collaborate with designated clinical partners to establish and maintain appropriate appointment scheduling protocols and build positive relationships. Escalate scheduling or insurance issues to the Patient Engagement Supervisor or Patient Engagement Manager as needed. Consistently meet productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards set by the Access Center. Participate in team problem-solving and resolution. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or equivalent. Previous general computer experience with data entry, preferably in a healthcare setting. Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service excellence in a contact center (preferred). Previous healthcare experience with medical terminology (preferred). Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) (preferred). Essential Competencies: We're looking for individuals with: Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
