About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Online Customer Chat Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support services team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients through online chat platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: You'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, and your role will be to provide accurate, helpful, and timely support to resolve their queries and issues.
  • Monitoring and Responding to Customer Inquiries: You'll be responsible for monitoring our online chat platforms and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Solving Customer Problems and Resolving Issues: You'll work closely with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling Products and Services: You'll have the opportunity to promote our products and services to customers and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Tracking and Reporting Customer Interactions: You'll be responsible for tracking and reporting customer interactions to help us improve our services and support.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers through online chat platforms and provide accurate and helpful information to resolve their queries and issues.
  • Proficiency in Computer Skills (MS Office, PLM, SAP Basis): You'll need to be proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, PLM, and SAP basis.
  • Experience in Customer Support: You'll need to have experience in customer support, either in a call center or online chat environment.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You'll need to be able to work independently and as part of a team to resolve customer issues and provide support.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You'll need to be able to analyze complex customer issues and provide effective solutions to resolve their queries and issues.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: You'll need to be able to work under pressure to meet customer expectations and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or customer service, would be an asset.
  • Experience in a Call Center or Online Chat Environment: Experience in a call center or online chat environment would be beneficial for this role.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software: Knowledge of CRM software would be an asset for this role.
