A Day in the Life of an Applied Scientist at arenaflex

As an Applied Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be part of a highly collaborative environment where creativity, experimentation, and iteration are encouraged. You'll work closely with engineering teams to design and implement software solutions for science problems, and collaborate with peers to drive research and creative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

* Drive collaborative research and creative problem-solving to develop cutting-edge AI solutions

  • Apply scientific concepts to real-world business problems, leveraging LLM, ML, and NLP techniques
  • Create experiments and prototype implementations of new learning algorithms and prediction techniques
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement software solutions for science problems
  • Constructively critique peer research and mentor junior scientists and engineers

About the Team

Our D2AS team is dedicated to setting the strategy for digital support and accelerating the delivery of seamless support experiences across arenaflex's digital products. We strive to anticipate, evaluate, prevent, and eliminate any effort required from customers, making digital experiences effortless and enjoyable. By working together, we foster an innovative learning environment that encourages experimentation, iteration, and optimization.

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of building models for business application experience

  • PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML, or related field experience
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related language
  • Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of machine learning and natural language processing concepts

  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or related languages
  • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
