Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service/Sales representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance
• Learning about products and services using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
• Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
• Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
• Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
• Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
• Participating in sales and customer service initiatives to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction

Our Customer Service/Sales representatives work in a variety of store departments, including:

• Building Materials
• Décor
• Electrical
• Flooring
• Garden
• Hardware
• Kitchen & Bath
• Lumber
• Millwork
• Paint
• Plumbing
• Tool Rental

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience

• Experience working in a retail or construction industry environment
• Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment
• Certification in customer service or sales
