The Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team of innovators and problem-solvers. As a key member of our Virtual Development team, you'll play a critical role in driving our business forward through the development of cutting-edge digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure web and cloud applications

  • Lead the development of high-performance, user-friendly, and visually appealing applications using a range of technologies and frameworks
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code and efficient delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow and develop their skills

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
  • Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Spring, and JUnit
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Jira
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
