Key Responsibilities: Responding to Customer Inquiries: Address customer inquiries and complaints about mail delivery problems, such as missing or misdelivered items. Clerical Duties: Take care of administrative tasks, which may involve responding to queries from coworkers and customers. Community Aid: Provide support to individuals in managing postal activities such as changing addresses or pausing mail services. Processing Incoming Mail: Sort and distribute incoming mail to the correct recipients. Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of mail processed and transactions completed. Providing Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and support. Essential Qualifications: Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Background Check: You must pass a background check to ensure suitability for the role. Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or mail processing role is preferred. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer software and systems, such as Worklith Office, is beneficial. Skills and Competencies: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Attention to Detail: You must be detail-oriented and able to accurately process mail. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Customer Service Skills: You must be able to provide exceptional customer service and support.
