Job overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and oversee the support, planning and execution of client projects within Ross Video's North American portfolio. This role involves implementing high-level project strategies and ensuring that project deliverables align with Ross Video’s standards of excellence and customer experience. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Technical Support, and Global Services to optimize project workflows, resource allocation, and client satisfaction.

What the job is all about

  • Strategic Project Oversight: Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution across multiple high-priority client engagements, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, addressing escalations, and ensuring high customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish best practices in project delivery, implement KPIs, and utilize project management tools to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Review products purchased and compare project deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations, budget, and timelines.
  • Problem Solving: Identify challenges proactively, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct post-mortem analyses on completed projects to identify areas for improvement, contributing to strategic adjustments and enhancements in project methodologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Technical Support teams to align project objectives and ensure resources are optimally deployed.
  • Resource Management: Determine resource needs and manage the scheduling of Ross Video staff, partners, and freelancers to ensure project demands are met.
  • Project Closure: Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and document best practices. Ensure a smooth handover to support or maintenance teams, if applicable.

Who you are

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a project management or client delivery role, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong background in the broadcast industry and familiarity with Ross Video’s suite of products and solutions.
  • Project Management: Proven skills in managing large-scale, complex client projects. Project management certifications considered an asset (e.g. PMP)
  • Client-Focused: Superior customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and navigate escalations effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with an analytical approach to managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and project management tools such as Resource Guru & Smartsheet.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing project requirements.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French) required
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within North America to support client and team needs.
