Pricing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join us here at Covéa Insurance as a Pricing Manager, within our Market Pricing Team!

In this role, you’ll be leading a team that is there to support managers and senior managers to achieve Covéa’s key strategic objectives by providing pricing recommendations, information and insight based on market leading predictive modelling and analysis.

This role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. If you prefer the buzz of the office? You're welcome to work from our Halifax or Reading offices whenever you like!

What does a day-to-day look like?

• Manage a team of analysts and senior analysts, demonstrating our company values and instilling them in the analysts in your team.

• Work with the Head of Market Pricing and senior stakeholders in the business to deliver pricing changes towards achieving our business objectives.

• Deliver best practice pricing methodologies and techniques. Influencing the wider pricing team by driving strategic changes to our approach to Pricing.

• Investigate opportunities to source internal and external datasets

• Automate, streamline and document pricing processes, to make them as efficient as possible.

• Create an innovative environment, identify value-add initiatives and drive through to implementation

What you can bring to the team:

• Experience of technical leadership within a General Insurance Pricing team.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills, and good problem-solving skills.

• Hands on experience of developing predictive models .

• An understanding of how data science and optimisation techniques work in an agile delivery environment.

• Good communication & interpersonal skills.

• Display attention to detail and accuracy.
