Job Summary

As an Experienced Category Manager – Technology Supply Chain Management (SCM) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Technology suppliers, particularly for the Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations. Your primary focus will be on supporting complex and high-value contracts, leading strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and drafting of contracts to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk. You will also serve as a consultant in Air Operations Technology spend and supplier-related issues, mentoring more junior level colleagues in this space.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations

• Support complex and high-value contracts, including negotiations and drafting of contracts
• Lead strategic sourcing events to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers successfully meet business objectives
• Serve as a consultant in Air Operations Technology spend and supplier-related issues
• Mentor more junior level colleagues in this space
• Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth and improve supplier performance
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform category decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on Technology or Air Operations
• Proven track record of success in managing complex contracts and negotiations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Experience with category management principles and practices
• Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on Technology or Air Operations
• Experience with strategic sourcing and contract management
• Knowledge of Air Operations Technology and supplier-related issues
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and Tableau
• Certification in Supply Chain Management, such as CSCP or SCMP

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
