Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for assisting customers with filing claims, providing solutions, and ensuring their products are protected. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, using cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a work-at-home opportunity for individuals living in the state of Georgia, with the option to bring your own device (BYOD) or use company-provided equipment.

Responsibilities

* Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner, using effective communication skills to resolve customer issues

  • Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to meet their expectations
  • Skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure, adapting to changing situations and priorities
  • Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, including evenings and weekends
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, providing a high level of service and support
  • Access company and client resources provided to accurately handle calls, ensuring seamless communication and resolution
  • Flexibility to cross-train as requested, expanding your skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of our customers

Qualifications

* 1 year of customer service experience required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience preferred, with a focus on customer service and communication
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations
  • Ability to use technology effectively and productively, with a strong understanding of software and hardware requirements
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Quick learner with a strong desire to learn and grow, with the ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required, ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees

Equipment and Software Requirements

* Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater

  • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
  • USB headset
  • No Chromebooks, netbooks, or any type of tablet (Must be a laptop or a desktop)
  • Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)
  • Firewall must be enabled (Will be checked prior to allowing login to system)

Work Environment and Company Culture

* Work-at-home opportunity for individuals living in the state of Georgia

Pay and Benefits

* Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance

  • Work hours: 9:00am-7:00pm (EST); Work Days: Mon-Fri & Every Other Sat 9a-2p
  • Paid Training: typically 2 weeks from 9:00am-6:00pm Mon-Fri (EST)
  • Status: Full Time; Benefit eligible 1st of month after 60 days
