Responsibilities

As a Web Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensuring seamless communication with customers and clients.
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate data entry and follow-up.
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Web Chat Agent, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (not necessary, but a plus).
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 WPM or above preferred.
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Fast typing skills (a plus), with a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • The ability to pass a background check.
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in an office setting, customer interaction, call center, or office customer service setting (2+ years preferred).
