Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be working with our customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email, creating raving fans for arenaflex every single day. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, and you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service over the phone, on live chat, and through email, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly, empathetic, and solution-focused manner
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and escalate issues to supervisors as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge

Schedule and Availability

* Work a 4-day schedule, with each shift being 10 hours long (40 hours per week)

  • Available shifts:

+ Saturday: 12:30pm-11pm Eastern time + Sunday: 9am-7:30pm Eastern time + Monday: 10-hour shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time + Tuesday: 10-hour shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $17.00/hour, with a $1/hour increase after 60-day provisional period

  • 2 weeks paid time off per year

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or related products
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience with customer service software and technology
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
