Key Highlights
* Full-time position (40 hours per week) with cover shift and swing shift hours available
- Virtual on-line paid training for 7 weeks (training dates available)
- Applicants must live within 100 miles of Portland, ME
- Bilingual candidates (fluent in Spanish) will receive an additional $1.00 increase to their salary
Responsibilities
As a Remote Emergency Roadside Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Processing requests for roadside assistance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Providing exceptional customer service to approximately 100 member calls per day
- Demonstrating concern for member safety and effectively diffusing high-tension situations
- Utilizing computer systems and software to efficiently manage member requests and resolve issues
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of previous customer service experience (call center experience preferred but not mandatory)
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Successful completion of background and drug screening
- Ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (no wireless, DSL, Satellite, or Hot Spots)
- Minimum 25 mbps download; 5 mbps upload
- Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills
