Summary

The Digital Marketing Intern will support the broader Marketing team across a variety of initiatives, contributing to content creation, digital campaigns, marketing operations, and web-based efforts. This role is designed to be a well-rounded, hands-on learning opportunity for Marketing majors, offering exposure to multiple facets of modern digital marketing. By assisting with ongoing projects and day-to-day execution, the intern will play an important role in supporting team goals while developing practical, real-world marketing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of digital marketing content, including marketing collateral, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Support social media initiatives, content scheduling, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to content development efforts, including blogs, customer stories, and internal marketing materials
  • Assist with light marketing operations support, including campaign coordination and data organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with members of the Marketing team (content, social, web, operations, and product marketing)
  • Conduct basic competitor and market research as needed
  • Execute additional marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university (Marketing or related field preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with or interest in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, content management systems, CRM tools)
  • Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn

Summer Internship Program Details

The Digital Marketing Intern position is part of the larger Summer Internship program at CentralSquare. The internship will commence on June 8th and continue for a period of 12 weeks. Interns are expected to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours each week. The program is fully remote, allowing participants to engage in their responsibilities from any location.
