Compensation: Pay per visit, $45 - $55 per routine visit, processed bi-weekly.

Shift Type: Full-time, Normal Business Hours, Monday - Friday, Flexibility.

Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist (COTA) to work one-on-one with our patients in their home environment to give proper education and therapy to allow our patients to become more independent. The COTA for this position enjoys working with a team of supportive clinicians as well as being disciplined to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer occupational therapy treatments that help patients reach their care goals in accordance with the Plan of Care and physician orders.

  • Assist in the implementation of programs and activities established by the OT to restore, reinforce, and enhance task performances and promote health and self-sufficiency.

  • Design and/or adapt equipment to the patient’s working and/or living environment.

  • Evaluate effects of occupational therapy treatments; recommend adjustments and modifications in consultation with the OT and physician.

  • Participate in and contribute to case conferences and care coordination/discharge planning. Act as a resource to other healthcare personnel in order to meet patient’s needs.

  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience as a COTA in home care, acute care, or rehab

  • Current state license as a COTA.

  • Proof of current CPR certification and valid Driver’s license.

  • Ability to work and flexible schedule.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
