Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Associate I, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive and memorable experience in our stores. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions and recommendations, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs
  • Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our strict security protocols
  • Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving shipments in accordance with productivity standards
  • Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
  • Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Ability to work in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise, as well as stand for long periods
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Ability to work in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed
