Job Description:

Avery Dennison is seeking an Account Manager for the Southwest region to join the Apparel North America organization. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager,  the successful candidate is responsible for sales efficiency, effectiveness, customer experience and delivering profitable sales growth goals.  Developing our team is a top priority and there will be numerous opportunities to learn new skills and gain new experience. 

This position will manage sales in the states of TX, OK, NM, AZ, CO, UT, WY, ID and MT. Applicants must reside in a major metropolitan area within the assigned geographic territory. Responsible for all territory sales activities from lead generation through closing sales. Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships.

Respond to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Generate, develop and implement new business through an agreed business plan which will meet both personal and business goals for expanding sales.

Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, policies and procedures to new and existing customers.

Prospecting and cold calling to establish new customers. 

Continually gather information on the competition and prevailing industry climate within the region; communicate information to management and others, as needed.

Submits weekly activity reports.

Attend trade shows/association meetings, as needed.

Extensive travel is required. Must be able to drive/fly, as required.

Needs home office/office space availability.

Qualifications:
  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a minimum of 5 years of successful sales and territory management. 
  • Experience with using and maintaining a CRM system.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite programs. 
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
Additional Information:

The salary base for this position is $75,000 / year. This role is also under a quarterly and yearly bonus plan.         

The hiring  base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
