Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to multiple inbound chats in a timely and efficient manner
  • Gathering and verifying required information from customers as needed
  • Identifying current and prospective customer needs and determining appropriate solutions to resolve all issues and concerns
  • Qualifying leads and explaining the type of service or product offered that may be beneficial to the customer
  • Communicating information and answering questions regarding current promotions and new or upgraded products
  • Completing system documentation and tasks to ensure follow-through of appropriate actions
  • Leveraging tools and processes (including prepared responses) to provide exceptional customer service
  • Striving to meet defined metrics for productivity, quality, and customer experience
  • Maintaining thorough systems, network, and product knowledge

Requirements

To be successful as an Online Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • The ability to type 35 WPM efficiently
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • The ability to recognize consultative upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • The ability to provide a high-level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
  • Excellent research and customer service problem-solving skills
  • The ability to satisfactorily meet job performance expectations for your current position
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Windows

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales
  • Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Certification in customer service or sales
