Job title: Mathematics Tutor (Part-Time) Company: State of South Carolina Job description: Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC is invites applications for tutoring positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus, but candidates must be willing to provide online services as needed. Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to complete skills assessments, such as tutoring demonstrations.These positions require an associate degree or a high school diploma with tutoring/teaching experience. The pay range is $18-$20 per hour. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates must be knowledgeable of College Algebra and/or Probability & Statistics course content and able to use modeling techniques when working with students.To be considered for this position applicants MUST complete the online SC State Jobs Employment Application.
