As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 3-6. You will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your daily responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining the classroom environment, observing and assessing each child's progress, and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. You will foster a positive and inclusive classroom community, promoting social-emotional growth and conflict resolution skills among students. Collaboration with fellow educators and administrative staff is essential for maintaining high standards of care and education. You will guide and mentor assistant teachers, ensuring consistency in pedagogical approaches and classroom management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and principles, with relevant certifications and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education. Exceptional classroom management skills, creativity, and patience are a must. You should be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. This role offers a blend of on-site teaching and a hybrid remote component for administrative tasks, curriculum planning, and parent communication, providing flexibility.
