Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Airport Customer Service Agent to join our team at Ontario International Airport. As a frontline representative for arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our passengers, providing them with exceptional service, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. Responsibilities

As an Airport Customer Service Agent with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
  • Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up, resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items, and utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage.
  • Handling customer interactions with class, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring that every passenger feels valued and respected.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.

Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following basic qualifications:
  • Be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Hold a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Pass up to a 10-year background check.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
  • Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
  • Be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for success in this role:
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
