The Job
As a customer service representative, you'll be responsible for delivering equipment rentals to our customers' accommodations, offering support service throughout their stay, and picking up equipment after their final day on the mountain. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. Our part-time positions offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to get out skiing or riding on your days off.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver equipment rentals to customers' accommodations, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Offer support service to customers throughout their stay, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Pick up equipment after customers' final day on the mountain, ensuring a seamless experience
- Maintain a clean and organized van, ensuring all equipment is in good condition
- Restock vans with extra equipment and perform basic ski tuning, waxing, and maintenance
- Answer and make calls to customers, providing exceptional communication and service
Compensation and Benefits
* Part-time Ski Technicians have a base wage of $18/hour, plus tips
- Average wage including credit card tips (excluding cash tips pocketed) was between $25 - $33 per hour for the 22/23 season
- Receive an AMC ski pass on your start date, providing unlimited skiing to Steamboat, Winter Park, Mammoth, Palisades, Solitude, and more
- 401K benefit and match for all staff members over 21 years old
Requirements
* No prior experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous customer service experience
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic ski tuning and maintenance skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
