Looking for Experienced Truck Dispatching / Logistics Operations Manager (Long Term Opportunity) - Contract to Hire

Hi everyone, I run a business in Australia which has been growing well over the last few years, and I’ve successfully built and managed remote teams based in Pakistan through platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, and referrals. Lately I’ve been researching the US trucking dispatching and logistics support industry and I’m considering building a serious long term operation in this space. I want to be upfront: I do not personally come from a trucking background, so I’m not looking for someone to simply “work a job.” I’m looking for someone experienced who can genuinely help guide, manage, and potentially help build the operational side of this business properly from the ground up. What I DO bring: Business experience operating in Australia Strong sales and marketing background Experience building remote teams Systems/process mindset Long term vision Capital and willingness to invest properly Commitment to paying employees well and building a professional environment I also visit Pakistan every 6 months or so, so this is not a random side idea I’ll disappear from after a month. I’m mainly looking for someone with REAL experience in areas such as: Truck dispatching Freight brokerage support Carrier sales Load booking US logistics operations Dispatcher management Building dispatch teams SOP/process creation Appointment setting for trucking companies Ideally, you are someone who: Has actually worked in the industry Understands how dispatch operations run daily Can help avoid beginner mistakes Speaks strong English Has leadership/management ability Wants to build something long term rather than just clock in/out This can start as: consulting/advisory operations management team lead role or potentially grow into something much bigger depending on experience and fit.
