Greenheck Group is a global leader in air movement and ventilation, known for its commitment to employee growth and development. The Manufacturing Engineer will optimize factory costs and quality by developing and implementing improved manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement basic training initiatives to support manufacturing
  • Specify and justify basic capital expenditures
  • Purchase and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations
  • Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Recognize and recommend design and process changes to improve manufacturability
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, cell layout and machinery efficiency
  • Provide summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning
  • Participate in Lean and safety initiatives
  • Manage basic individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates
  • Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction
  • Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies

Skills

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in engineering or equivalent years of job experience
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for level I
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for level II
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree
  • Basic CAD skills
  • SAP experience
  • Basic understanding of Lean concepts
