Tableau Developer (US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance)
Job Type Full-time Description NOTE: This opportunity is open to W2, 1099 or C2C (no third parties, please). The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen with an active secret federal security clearance. This is a remote opportunity; candidate must be based in the United States; must have reliable high-speed wired internet connectivity. ET time zone work schedule. Daily Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions that support operational decision-making, performance management, and program reporting.
- Work with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver dashboards, visualizations, and data-driven insights that support mission-critical operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to support operational and leadership reporting.
- Support data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions.
- Support Power Platform environments and reporting-related enhancements.
- Troubleshoot reporting, data, and dashboard issues.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual status) (As mandated by our government client).
- Must possess an active secret federal security clearance.
- Must have reliable high-speed wired (not wireless) internet connectivity.
- 6+ years of progressive professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Tableau developer.
- Experience developing Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and data transformation.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into analytics solutions.
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for expressing technical requirements and designs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information sciences, or related discipline. Additional related professional experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- - Tableau certification is a PLUS.
- - Microsoft Power Platform experience is a PLUS.
- - Experience supporting Federal or DoD programs is a PLUS.
- - Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar version control tools is a PLUS.
