About This Role We are looking for a dependable, detail-driven bookkeeper who is ready to grow. You will start as a Junior Bookkeeper with a clearly defined path to Senior Bookkeeper — based on your performance, not a set timeline. If you are skilled, self-directed, and ready to take ownership of client accounts, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
- Perform monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting tasks for multiple small business clients
- Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with payroll
- Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
- Manage year-end 1099 tracking and Sales & Use Tax (for review)
- Contribute to clean-ups, workflow improvements, and SOP documentation
- Communicate with clients professionally via Slack and Google Meet
- Report directly to the owner and work independently in focused time blocks
What You Need
- 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience (required)
- Experience with multi-client bookkeeping in a small business environment
- Solid understanding of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and basic payroll
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines independently
- Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-accountant clients
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup
- Availability M–F, 8am–5pm Central for consistent recurring work blocks
- U.S. based and authorized to work in the U.S.
