Part-Time Intake Specialist (Personal Injury)

Summary

Rosenbaum Meier Personal Injury Lawyers, an established NYC personal injury firm, is seeking a bilingual part-time Intake Specialist to join our growing team. The Intake Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and bringing new clients to our firm and is the first point of contact for potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience within the legal field. Recent college grads are encouraged to apply! Applicants MUST be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish). This role is part-time and remote. Pay Range $15-20/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain client relations through communication and professional conduct.
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients.
• Conduct intake interviews to gather information about incident and assess case potential.
• Manage initial case information, track leads, and follow up with potential clients as needed.
• Support prospective clients by providing general information about the Intake process.
• Provide additional support to the Intake team and perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks.

Education and Experience

• Experience in customer service role is preferred. Legal experience is a bonus!
• Associate’s degree required but Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and case management systems. Experience with Filevine is a plus!
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case information.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
