With a reputation for reliability, safety, and innovative service, arenaflex continually invests in technology and talent to stay ahead of the fast‑moving travel market. Our mission is to deliver seamless travel experiences, from booking to baggage handling, while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and inclusion. As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding the Product Operations team to ensure our marketplace of travel‑related services—hotels, car rentals, insurance, and more—delivers the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and value to our customers.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Operations Specialist to join arenaflex’s remote Customer Support team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our travel‑product catalog, responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing vendor contracts, pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies. You will work closely with internal stakeholders—including Marketing, Revenue Management, and the Product Development team—as well as external suppliers to ensure that every product offering is accurately represented across all sales channels. This is a full‑time, remote‑first position based in the United States, offering a competitive hourly rate of $25 and a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Catalog Management

  • Create and maintain vendor profiles in the travel‑product management system, capturing contract details, parent/chain relationships, and inventory allocations.
  • Set up and continuously update pricing and selling rules for all active vendors, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms.
  • Design and implement rules for electronically connected suppliers, automating data flows where possible.
  • Onboard new vendors, conducting thorough due‑diligence checks and configuring product feeds to meet arenaflex standards.

Quality Assurance & Optimization

  • Monitor product data for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across all distribution channels (website, mobile app, call center, and third‑party aggregators).
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, applying corrective actions and preventive measures to reduce future errors.
  • Analyze pricing trends and inventory levels, recommending strategic adjustments to maximize revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to address vendor‑related challenges, such as oversell scenarios or contract ambiguities.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to provide pricing and product information for promotional campaigns, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Support the Revenue Management team with inventory allocation decisions and seasonal planning.
  • Assist other arenaflex departments—Customer Service, Legal, and Finance—with inquiries related to vendor contracts and product performance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external technology partners (e.g., global distribution systems, hotel aggregators) to resolve integration issues.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain the annual Open-to‑Buy (OTB) plan in partnership with the Product Development team, aligning inventory targets with business goals.
  • Provide regular reporting on product performance, pricing effectiveness, and inventory health using Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
  • Participate in crisis management activities, offering product‑related support during emergency situations such as flight disruptions or natural disasters.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline product onboarding processes through automation or workflow enhancements.
  • Contribute ideas for new product categories or service enhancements that could expand arenaflex’s revenue streams.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies that impact travel product management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in product operations, vendor management, or a customer‑facing role within the travel, hospitality, or e‑commerce sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and Microsoft PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or similar data‑visualization tools.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to develop data‑driven solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with travel‑industry platforms such as GDS (Sabre, Amadeus) or hotel inventory systems (e.g., IBS, HotelBeds).
  • Knowledge of arenaflex’s reservation system and product lifecycle processes.
  • Exposure to contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
  • Certification in supply chain or product management (e.g., APICS, PMP) is a plus.
