Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Service Agent to join our team in Indiana. As a key member of our remote team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to consumers and providers, answering inquiries, and facilitating the fulfillment of caller requests. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for

  • Answering incoming calls from consumers and providers requesting information about the Medicaid Newborn process, Good Cause, and/or Presumptive Eligibility for children
  • Tracking and documenting all inquiries using the applicable systems
  • Completing associated tasks according to established guidelines
  • Meeting Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics
  • Facilitating the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download
  • Transferring/referencing consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines
  • Escalating calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed
  • Facilitating translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures (if bilingual)
  • Attending meetings and trainings as requested Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need
  • To live within the State of Indiana (required)
  • 1 year of call center experience (required)
  • Bilingual skills (preferred)
  • The ability to work remotely without distraction or interruption
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent Essential Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in using technology, including CRM systems and other software applications
