Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analytics Specialist at arenaflex, you'll engage in a diverse range of activities that span the entire data lifecycle:
1. Data Management and Quality Assurance
- Develop deep understanding of arenaflex's commercial domains, information categories, and data repositories
- Identify optimal data sources for specific business requirements while ensuring fitness for purpose
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain high standards of data integrity
- Work with distributed datastores including relational databases, NoSQL solutions, and cloud-based data platforms
- Support understanding of requirement priorities and service level agreements
2. Code Development and Testing
- Write clean, efficient code using programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, R, and others
- Develop solutions and application features according to business requirements and technical specifications
- Apply various testing methodologies including static analysis, dynamic testing, and manual validation
- Ensure code quality, efficiency, and adherence to arenaflex's coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices within the team
3. Analytical Modeling and Machine Learning
- Select appropriate analytical modeling techniques based on data characteristics and business problems
- Develop custom analytical models using advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Conduct exploratory data analysis including statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and inference
- Implement feature engineering techniques to enhance model performance

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3 years of experience in an analytics-related field (or equivalent internship experience)
- OR
- Master's degree in Data Science, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1 year of experience in an analytics-related field

- 5 years of experience in analytics or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
