Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Customer Support team on a part‑time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, freight customers, and ticket‑service users, delivering exceptional service across phone, chat, and email channels. You will help resolve inquiries, process transactions, and ensure that each interaction reflects arenaflex’s core values of friendliness, patience, and problem‑solving excellence. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27, an 8‑hour workday, and the flexibility to work from anywhere within Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous assistance to both internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships throughout each interaction.
  • Operate arenaflex’s modern reservation and ticketing system to handle check‑in, boarding, baggage, and cargo processes efficiently.
  • Process a variety of payment methods—including cash, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons—accurately calculating totals, issuing change, and reconciling daily transactions.
  • Answer inbound calls, respond to live chat messages, and manage email inquiries, delivering timely and accurate information about flight schedules, pricing, and policies.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns such as overbooked flights, delayed or cancelled itineraries, lost or damaged baggage, and cargo discrepancies, adhering to arenaflex’s service standards.
  • Document and report incidents, anomalies, and customer complaints in accordance with company procedures, ensuring that all relevant data is captured for follow‑up.
  • Collaborate with teammates, supervisors, and other departments to achieve operational goals and maintain a smooth flow of airport ground operations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Ground Operations Handbook, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Adapt to fluctuating workload volumes, meeting tight turnaround times during peak travel periods while preserving service quality.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs, achieving a minimum 80% pass rate on all certification assessments and demonstrating continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of arenaflex’s customer experience initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to type quickly and accurately on a computer keyboard (minimum 45 WPM).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly over the phone, via chat, and in person.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help customers, combined with a calm demeanor in high‑stress situations.
  • Basic arithmetic proficiency for handling cash transactions, ticket pricing, and change calculations.
