Special Education Teacher Work From Home | New Hampshire

A Special Education Teacher with telehealth experience is needed for a contract position working with an elementary school in Newport, NH. This role supports 22-24 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing case management and tailored educational services. The position requires part-time availability, approximately 15-20 hours per week, aligned with the normal school year schedule. Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction using telehealth and in-person methods to meet student learning goals
• Manage and maintain detailed case files and documentation for assigned students
• Collaborate with families and school personnel to develop and implement IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification is required
• Experience working with diverse disabilities in an elementary school setting
• Strong case management and documentation skills
• Ability to effectively use telehealth platforms for instructional delivery
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
