Position Overview
arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst – Supply Chain Systems & Inventory Network Frameworks Manager to join our remote workforce. This role is a pivotal bridge between the Centralized IT and Application Development teams, ensuring that our Distribution Center (DC) Administration Framework operates flawlessly. You will collaborate closely with the Business/Telecom divisions and the Innovation Office to design, implement, and support real‑world infrastructure that powers the DC environment. The position is fully remote (work‑from‑home) with a competitive hourly rate of $25, offering a full‑time schedule of 8 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Centralized IT and Application Development groups, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Partner with Business/Telecom teams and the Innovation Office to design, evaluate, and deploy infrastructure that supports DC operations.
- Coordinate with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) vendors to ensure seamless data capture and integration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all intelligent devices, including Sortation Control Systems, printers, terminals, and LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure.
- Manage data ingestion pipelines and data recovery processes, guaranteeing data integrity and availability.
- Act as the conduit between the DC office, WMS (Warehouse Management System) vendor, and MIS (Management Information Systems) team for issue resolution.
- Oversee the implementation of all software releases, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Track inventory of in‑stock supplies such as pallets, cartons, and containers, reporting utilization metrics to MIS.
- Supervise non‑exempt staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Maintain all control tables within the WMS, including access rights and security permissions.
- Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability for all end users.
- Manage peripheral connections to the WMS, such as Neoware terminals, RF devices, and printers.
- Administer and audit end‑user access and privileges, delivering quarterly reports to the SOX Compliance Office.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Cognos Report Studio) to improve visibility into WMS and operational metrics.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on IT experience, including exposure to Windows, Unix, and SQL Server environments.
- At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or distribution‑center setting (transportation‑focused environment preferred).
- Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, and Microsoft Word for data analysis and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work on‑site when required; this role is not fully remote and may involve occasional visits to DC locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management experience (PMP certification or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Advanced degree or certifications in IT (e.g., CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
