Our mission is to build an airline people genuinely love — one that delivers extraordinary experiences for travelers while creating meaningful career opportunities for talented professionals across the country. Every team within our corporate structure, from accounting and human resources to finance, planning, legal, marketing, and beyond, contributes strategically to the broader success of our organization.

What sets arenaflex apart in the modern aviation landscape is our shared passion for movement, connection, and service. Our guests inspire us daily to achieve excellence in everything we do, and our employees are empowered to bring their unique perspectives, creativity, and dedication to a workplace that values innovation and collaboration. If you share our enthusiasm for shaping the future of air travel and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions have measurable impact, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity. This position offers the chance to join arenaflex as a key contributor within our commercial organization, working remotely from anywhere in the United States while partnering with colleagues and clients across multiple markets.

Position Overview

The Agency Sales Manager serves as a strategic subject matter expert and trusted advisor for arenaflex's corporate travel management company (TMC) partnerships. This is a high-impact individual contributor role in which you will exercise significant professional judgment to make decisions that directly drive consistent revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen arenaflex's competitive positioning across key commercial markets. You will leverage your deep understanding of our network, our corporate client relationships, and the broader travel industry to identify, develop, and close business opportunities with travel management organizations of all sizes.

Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners across legal, revenue management, marketing, and business development teams. This position is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who excels at building lasting business relationships, negotiating complex agreements, and translating market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic TMC Partnership Management: Serve as the primary subject matter expert and relationship owner for arenaflex's travel management company business, cultivating deep, mutually beneficial partnerships with key TMC accounts across assigned markets.
  • Business Development & Relationship Cultivation: Build and sustain strategic business relationships with TMC accounts that are intentionally focused on identifying and capitalizing on business travel growth opportunities that advance arenaflex's commercial objectives.
  • Independent Decision-Making & Negotiation: With minimal supervision, exercise comprehensive judgment to manage pricing strategy, conduct detailed cost analysis, and lead negotiations for all TMC agreements — always with the goal of securing the highest possible market share and yield within individual commercial markets.
  • Contract Development & Compliance: Partner closely with arenaflex's legal and risk management teams to develop contract-ready agreements that protect company interests while supporting commercial flexibility and partner success.
  • Performance Analytics & Revenue Optimization: Analyze revenue streams, discount structures, and contract performance to ensure objective compliance, profitability, and alignment with broader corporate sales targets.
  • Repeat Business Development: Proactively identify and develop additional business opportunities with existing TMC accounts, working in close coordination with the revenue management team to ensure optimal fare filings that drive expected revenue in accordance with the specific terms of each agreement.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Develop marketing-related promotions and campaigns that support sales efforts, working closely with the marketing and business development teams to amplify partnership impact and drive incremental revenue.
  • Account Management Execution: Manage the ongoing administration of TMC corporate accounts through structured sales calls, agreement negotiations, and seamless coordination with revenue and pricing teams.
  • Business Growth Planning: Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with corporate sales targets, ensuring arenaflex is strategically positioned among competitors and effectively leverages its standing within the marketplace.
  • Reporting & Trend Analysis: Monitor key reporting metrics and performance dashboards to identify emerging trends, diagnose challenges, and develop forward-looking strategies that ensure arenaflex remains optimally positioned in market.
  • Revenue & Commission Oversight: Track revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenue generation and that all agreement objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Resource & Time Optimization: Effectively manage and prioritize time and resources to maximize revenue opportunities at the most cost-efficient rate for arenaflex, balancing commercial ambition with operational discipline.

Required Qualifications

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in outside sales, with a specific concentration in a retail services environment or directly related industry sector.
  • Educational Background: A four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR two additional years of relevant training and professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to create compelling presentations, analyze data, and manage communications efficiently.
  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline Industry Experience: Prior experience working within the airline industry or a closely related aviation sector, with familiarity of industry-specific commercial practices, fare structures, and distribution channels.
  • Travel Industry Data Tools: Prior exposure to and working knowledge of travel industry data and reporting platforms such as Sabre, ARC, and Crystal — tools that provide critical market intelligence and performance insights.
  • CRM Expertise: Working proficiency with Salesforce or comparable customer relationship management platforms to track pipeline activity, manage accounts, and generate performance reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to drive results that serve the long-term best interests of arenaflex and our partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative, cross-functional relationships with diverse teams, departments, and workgroups across an organization.
  • Organizational Agility: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts arising from competing priorities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.

Skills and Competencies for Success

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and interpersonal finesse. You are a natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly and maintains it over time. You possess a strong analytical mindset, capable of dissecting complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. You are a confident negotiator who can balance competitive pricing strategies with long-term partnership value. You thrive in an autonomous work environment, taking ownership of your results while collaborating effectively with colleagues across multiple functions and geographies. Adaptability, resilience, and a solutions-oriented mindset are essential, as is the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable daily execution.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, we believe that our people are our greatest competitive advantage. When you join our team, you become part of a culture that actively invests in professional development, continuous learning, and meaningful career progression. As an Agency Sales Manager, you will gain deep exposure to the commercial strategy of a leading airline, develop advanced negotiation and partnership management skills, and build a robust professional network across the travel industry. We offer access to industry conferences, leadership development programs, mentorship opportunities, and tuition reimbursement for relevant continuing education. High performers in this role frequently advance into senior commercial leadership positions, regional sales director roles, or specialized corporate strategy positions within arenaflex's broader organization.

Work Environment and Company Culture

arenaflex fosters a remote-friendly work environment that emphasizes outcomes over hours, trust over micromanagement, and collaboration over competition. Our culture is built on mutual respect, transparent communication, and a shared commitment to delivering excellence for our guests and partners. We celebrate diversity of thought, background, and experience, recognizing that inclusive teams make better decisions and drive stronger results. As a remote team member, you will have access to comprehensive onboarding, regular virtual team-building events, and structured touchpoints with leadership to ensure you feel connected, supported, and empowered to do your best work from anywhere in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $26/hour, equivalent to approximately $54,080 annually for full-time work, with the potential for performance-based incentives, bonuses, and long-term career advancement. Full-time employees at arenaflex are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match; paid time off and holidays; life and disability insurance; employee travel privileges; and a range of wellness programs designed to support your physical, mental, and financial well-being. Specific benefits offerings will be discussed in detail during the interview process.

How to Apply

If you are a motivated sales professional with a passion for the travel industry and a track record of building high-value partnerships, we encourage you to apply today. This is your opportunity to join arenaflex — an organization that genuinely values its people, rewards performance, and offers the autonomy to make a real commercial impact.
