Role Overview – Senior Real‑Time Analyst (RTA)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Real‑Time Analyst to become a cornerstone of arenaflex’s US Workforce Management (WFM) team. This remote position will serve as the primary point of contact for real‑time monitoring of service levels, operational KPIs, and site‑wide performance metrics. You will translate forecast data from our Economists team into actionable staffing plans, ensuring optimal coverage for inbound and outbound phone, chat, and email volumes. Your insights will directly influence peak‑readiness strategies, headcount planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with operations leaders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Real‑Time Monitoring & Alerting: Track interval‑level volume trends, site‑wide shrinkage, non‑productive time (NPT), and productivity metrics; promptly identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Operational Compliance: Verify that each org/skill adheres to shift schedules, break policies, missed‑call thresholds, and call‑disconnection limits, ensuring consistent service‑level attainment.
  • Metric Management: Maintain daily targets for service levels, occupancy, PTL (Productivity Time Lost), utilization, and other critical KPIs across all skills and sites.
  • Cross‑Functional Liaison: Partner with network points of contact (WFM and Operations) to address gaps, resolve opportunity areas, and align on performance improvement initiatives.
  • Planning Execution: Oversee timely completion of training QA requests, holiday scheduling, shift rollovers, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
  • Ticket Resolution: Close all WFM‑related SIMs/tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring no backlog impacts operational flow.
  • Capacity Alignment: Adjust schedules based on forecasted volume, proactively managing short‑term deficits or surpluses to sustain optimal staffing levels.
  • Mentorship & Development: Coach and develop junior RTAs, sharing best practices, analytical techniques, and WFM tools to build a high‑performing team.
  • Insight Generation: Conduct deep‑dive analyses on metric misses, produce factual call‑outs, and design clear Path‑to‑Green (PTG) action plans.
  • Process Innovation: Champion continuous improvement by simplifying existing processes, eliminating waste, and ensuring operational procedures are consistently followed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in real‑time analysis, workforce management, or contact‑center operations, preferably within a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Proven expertise in monitoring and optimizing service‑level agreements (SLAs) for multi‑channel environments (voice, chat, email).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, forecast trends, and translate findings into actionable staffing recommendations.
  • Hands‑on experience with WFM platforms (e.g., NICE, Verint, Aspect) and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel advanced functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively influence cross‑functional stakeholders and present data‑driven insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high‑visibility projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Self‑starter mindset with a disciplined approach to remote work, time management, and independent problem‑solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certification in Workforce Management (e.g., Certified Workforce Management Professional – CWMP).
  • Experience with predictive analytics, machine‑learning models for volume forecasting, or advanced statistical techniques.
  • Background in coaching or mentoring teams, with a track record of developing junior analysts into high‑performers.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
