About arenaflex – Pioneering the Future of Digital Infrastructure

arenaflex is a global leader in cutting‑edge hardware and cloud services, delivering the backbone that powers billions of daily interactions across the internet. From massive data‑center operations to next‑generation AI platforms, arenaflex’s innovative products keep the world connected, secure, and constantly evolving. Our mission is to build reliable, scalable, and sustainable technology that empowers businesses and individuals alike. As part of our expanding engineering ecosystem, we are looking for a detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join the Product Engineering team and help translate complex product designs into actionable manufacturing data.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑moving world of server‑farm hardware, precision and consistency are non‑negotiable. Our Assembly Operations group relies on accurate data to drive efficient production, maintain high yields, and ensure that every component fits together seamlessly. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be the critical link between design engineers, supply‑chain partners, and the manufacturing floor, guaranteeing that product specifications, bill‑of‑materials (BOM) information, and test plans are captured flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Enter, verify, and maintain product design data, BOMs, and test specifications in arenaflex’s Product Data Management (PDM) system with zero‑error tolerance.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Design Engineers, and Quality Engineers to gather missing information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data completeness.
  • Supply‑Chain Coordination: Liaise with ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers), CMs (Contract Manufacturers), and component suppliers to obtain accurate part numbers, lead times, and compliance documentation.
  • Test Plan Documentation: Translate complex ASIC, FPGA, and GPU test procedures into clear, structured test plans, including DFT (Design‑for‑Test) and ATE (Automated Test Equipment) requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify repetitive data‑entry bottlenecks, propose automation scripts (Python or SQL), and collaborate with the tooling team to streamline workflows.
  • Compliance & Traceability: Ensure all entries meet internal DFX (Design for Excellence) standards and regulatory traceability requirements for post‑silicon validation.
  • Remote Support: Provide virtual assistance to on‑site teams in Guadalajara, MX, and other global locations, facilitating seamless hand‑offs between design and production.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing or supply‑chain environment, preferably within server‑farm hardware or data‑center product lines.
  • Hands‑on experience working with ODMs, CMs, and component vendors for complex electronic assemblies.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans for ASICs, FPGAs, GPUs, or similar high‑performance chips.
  • Solid understanding of DFT methodologies, ATE testing, and post‑silicon validation processes.
  • Working knowledge of SQL queries and scripting in Python (or similar languages) for data manipulation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar PDM platforms.
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) and simulation environments.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum frameworks within hardware development teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with global partners across time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous data entry and verification to prevent costly manufacturing errors.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quickly diagnose data inconsistencies and propose corrective actions.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfort with hardware design terminology, component specifications, and testing methodologies.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships with engineers, suppliers, and quality teams.
  • Time Management: Prioritize multiple data streams and meet tight NPI (New Product Introduction) deadlines.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging hardware trends, testing tools, and data‑management best practices.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in employee development. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship from senior hardware engineers and product managers.
  • Internal training programs on ASIC design, FPGA development, and advanced test automation.
  • Opportunities to transition into roles such as Supply‑Chain Analyst, Test Engineer, or Product Data Manager.
  • Cross‑functional project assignments that broaden exposure to cloud infrastructure, AI hardware, and emerging data‑center technologies.
  • Certification support for industry‑recognized credentials (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or relevant IEEE courses).

Work Environment & Culture at arenaflex

Our culture blends the agility of a startup with the resources of a global technology leader. Key aspects include:

  • Flexibility: Fully remote work model with occasional on‑site collaboration in Guadalajara or Sunnyvale, as needed.
  • Innovation‑First Mindset: Employees are encouraged to experiment, share ideas, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: A welcoming environment that values varied perspectives and promotes equitable growth.
  • Well‑Being Programs: Access to virtual wellness resources, mental‑health support, and ergonomic home‑office stipends.
  • Community Impact: Participation in arenaflex’s sustainability initiatives and global outreach programs.
