Role Overview – Why This Position Matters

We are seeking a dynamic, versatile, and highly skilled Creative Copywriter to join our brand storytelling team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director based in Austin, TX, you will play a pivotal role in shaping arenaflex’s voice across every touchpoint—from long‑form feature articles to concise email campaigns and social media posts. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, designers, photographers, and product ambassadors.

In this role, you will be the narrative architect behind arenaflex’s most compelling brand experiences, translating product innovation and outdoor passion into stories that resonate with a diverse audience of explorers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft high‑quality, detail‑oriented copy for a variety of formats, including long‑form articles, blog posts, product descriptions, email newsletters, social media captions, and advertising headlines.
  • Develop and pitch original story ideas that align with arenaflex’s brand strategy and seasonal campaign themes.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, photographers, and video producers to ensure copy and visual assets are seamlessly integrated.
  • Partner with the marketing team to translate campaign concepts into clear, persuasive messaging across multiple channels (digital, print, retail, and experiential).
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting tone and style to suit specific audiences, platforms, and campaign objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and constructive feedback to refine concepts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional copywriting experience, with a proven portfolio that showcases both long‑form narratives and concise marketing copy.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or brand communications role, preferably within the consumer goods or outdoor‑recreation sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling product copy, headlines, and multi‑channel messaging that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure; a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong storytelling instincts, with the ability to weave brand values into memorable narratives.
  • Portfolio website or digital portfolio that highlights a range of writing styles and successful campaigns.
