Responsibilities
- Perform notarial acts remotely using video conferencing tools for clients unable to be present
- Verify identities, witness signatures, and certify documents in compliance with laws
- Travel to clients’ locations, such as homes or offices, to notarize various documents, including real estate transactions, wills, and powers of attorney
- Offer both remote notarization and mobile services for client convenience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Notary Public commission
- Additional authorization or certification may be required for remote notarization, often involving specific training in technology proficiency
- Training in mobile notary services covers client interaction, document handling, and legal requirements
