Physical Collateral Examination Associate

In this role, you will: Schedule and route daily travel to customer locations within an assigned geographic area, incorporating overnight stays to reduce travel time for optimum productivity. Physically inspect inventory and assess the condition to confirm the collateralized position. Reconcile discrepancies with the customer and document details to support final inventory inspection results. Build relationships with customers through setting inspection expectations, answering questions, providing support with payment systems and raising customer growth inquiries to our commercial and portfolio teams. Communicate with manager, account manager and peers to resolve issues and escalate risks. Performs physical inspections of commercial business inventories to assess their condition to provide prompt and accurate reporting. Covers jobs performing physical inspections of commercial business inventories to assess their condition in order to provide prompt and accurate reporting to confirm their collateralized position. May also be involved in responding to customer inquiries, questions, documentation issues, billing errors, disputes, and program changes. This is a 100% remote position, and the territory is based in Lakeland, FL, therefore you must live in Lakeland Florida or be willing to relocate here. Required Qualifications: 6+ months of Collateral Examination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 6+ months of auditing experience 6+ months of customer service experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related field Ability to work independently and in a team environment Able to anticipate and adapt to rapidly changing, growth-oriented environment Good verbal and written communication skills Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills Proficient knowledge of business practices and processes Ability to work with limited supervision Ability to negotiate with customers to obtain necessary documentation.
