What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Pre-Licensed Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to insurance policyholders while building your professional expertise. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving Complex Consumer Issues: Use excellent decision-making skills and innovative thinking to address high-level customer concerns while adhering to company and departmental guidelines.
  • Advising Frontline Representatives: Act as a knowledgeable resource for first-level representatives, helping them navigate escalated issues with confidence and accuracy.
  • Billing Support and Inquiries: Assist policyholders with billing questions, payment concerns, and account-related requests in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.
  • Policy Changes and Adjustments: Process policyholder requests for changes, updates, and modifications, ensuring every adjustment is accurate and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing Tailored Recommendations: Support policyholders by understanding their unique needs and offering recommendations that genuinely improve their coverage and experience.
  • Thriving in a Fast-Paced Environment: Successfully manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining composure, accuracy, and a customer-first attitude.

What We’re Looking For – Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in any industry, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively and solve problems.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Typing Speed: Ability to type at least 25 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Technical Comfort: Basic proficiency with desktop computer systems, including the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Proven verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills, with a track record of finding effective solutions.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Operating Systems: Comfort using Windows operating systems and standard office software.
  • Organization: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Call Center Experience: 6 months or more of call center or high-volume customer support experience is a strong plus.
  • Insurance Industry Familiarity: Prior exposure to insurance products, terminology, or sales is beneficial but not required.
  • Bilingual Capabilities: Fluency in additional languages is highly valued, given arenaflex’s global reach and diverse customer base.

Work From Home Requirements

To ensure you can perform at your best in a remote setting, please confirm you can meet the following technical and environmental requirements:

  • Internet Speed:
    • Minimum subscribed download rate of 12.0 Mbps or higher
    • Minimum subscribed upload rate of 3.0 Mbps or higher
    • ISP must have no packet loss and ping latency under 50ms
    • Proof of internet speed will be required during the hiring process
  • Workspace: A clean, quiet, and dedicated workspace free from distractions, allowing you to focus fully on customer interactions and training activities.
