Job Description

  • Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large enterprise virtual desktop (VDI) environment
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting complex performance issues
  • Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues
  • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability
  • Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies
  • Maintain an advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies
  • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions Requirements
  • Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)
  • Master’s degree + 7 years experience OR 16 years experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops
  • Experience managing and administering Windows Servers
  • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix
  • Experience in VDI profile management
  • Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs
  • AVD integration with Office 365 services
  • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
