Chief of Staff to CFO | PE SaaS
Chief of Staff to the CFO | PE-Backed Data & Analytics (Remote) We’re excited to be partnering exclusively with one of the most compelling private equity-backed businesses in the data and analytics space. This company has established itself as the undisputed market leader, operating a scaled platform that combines an online marketplace with proprietary SaaS-based data analytics products, giving clients an unparalleled view of consumer behavior, sentiment and market dynamics. Backed by one of the world’s premier technology-focused private equity firms, the business has reached $1 billion in annual revenue and employs approximately 1,500 people globally. They are recognized as the dominant player in their category, trusted by leading brands, financial institutions and professional services firms across the globe. The finance function is led by an exceptional CFO, a two-time public company CFO with deep roots in investment banking and private equity, who has been brought in to lead the business through one of its most significant chapters. Alongside her, the senior leadership team brings together expertise from IB, PE and high-growth SaaS scaleups, creating an environment that is analytically rigorous, commercially sharp and genuinely ambitious. The business is investing heavily in its data platforms, AI-enabled reporting and finance transformation, and is building towards a highly anticipated exit. It is a rare moment to join a market leader at full momentum. The Opportunity This is not a conventional Chief of Staff role. This is a finance-first position sitting directly alongside one of the most accomplished CFOs in the private equity-backed technology space. You will operate as their analytical and executional right hand, embedded at the heart of the finance function, deeply involved in a breadth of high-value financial activity. For the right person – intellectually curious, technically sharp, and hungry to learn this role represents a excellent platform. You will work on the financial outputs that land in front of the board, the investor community and the company’s most senior stakeholders. The learning curve will be steep with exceptional exposure to a high-performing exec team. This suited to someone ready to step out of a structured investment banking or corporate finance environment and into something faster, more complex and considerably more impactful.
