Position Overview

We are seeking motivated, compassionate individuals who reside in Florida (within a 75‑mile radius of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy hub at 9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819) to join our remote team as Customer Service Representatives – Specialty Pharmacy Support. In this role, you will be the vital link between patients, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams, ensuring that specialty drug orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and with the utmost care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable telephone support to patients receiving specialty medication therapy.
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verification of benefits and renewal of authorizations.
  • Enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Communicate copay amounts, collect payments, and resolve any financial discrepancies before order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal departments to identify, screen, and resolve clinical or accounts‑receivable issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior specialists while providing clear, concise summaries of the situation.
  • Continuously update knowledge of specialty drug therapies, insurance formularies, and medical terminology to enhance service quality.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, virtual job tryouts, and performance feedback loops to improve personal and team performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high‑volume customer service role, handling complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a strong aptitude for fast, accurate data entry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; verification of credentials will be performed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and clarity to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues before they impact patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within pharmacy, benefits administration, or medical insurance.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
