What You'll Do as a Member Services Representative

Your role as a Member Services Representative at arenaflex is multifaceted and critical to our members' financial well-being. You'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Processing: Handle a high volume of daily financial transactions including check processing, wire transfers, direct deposits, loan payments, and credit card transactions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Data Management and Accuracy: Perform comprehensive data entry and balancing functions, ensuring all records are maintained accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate the return of items with members, door vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other financial institutions to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Compliance Assurance: Strictly adhere to NACHA regulations, Federal Banking laws, and all relevant financial industry standards to ensure complete regulatory compliance in all operations.
  • Fraud Resolution Support: Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related accounting ledger balancing to maintain financial integrity.
  • Case Management: Work on member cases and assigned tasks, providing personalized solutions to individual member needs while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Product Review and Approval: Review, analyze, and approve transactions from Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other image-enabled products to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy.
  • GL and Account Management: Log, research, and make necessary General Ledger, account changes, and returns to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Specialized Transaction Processing: Process complex transactions including stop payments, check batching, IRA transactions, bankruptcy filings, and payoff checks.
  • International Financial Operations: Complete daily processing of workflows related to late returns, receipt delivery, foreign collections, and legal fees for international members.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications
