, is seeking a highly creative and organized Lead Catering Event Planner. This role is central to conceptualizing, organizing, and executing flawless catering events for a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio of successful events, exceptional client management skills, and a keen eye for detail, from menu selection and décor to logistics and on-site coordination. You will be responsible for leading a team of event planners and ensuring that each event reflects the client's vision while adhering to the company's high standards of excellence and creativity. Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of a wide range of catering events, including corporate functions, weddings, galas, and private parties. Manage client relationships from initial consultation through post-event follow-up, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service. Develop creative event concepts, themes, and layouts tailored to client specifications and budgets. Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative menus and beverage packages that align with event themes and guest preferences. Oversee vendor selection and management, including florists, entertainment, rental companies, and transportation providers. Create detailed event timelines, run sheets, and floor plans, ensuring all aspects are meticulously planned. Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for venue suitability and logistical planning. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability for each event. Supervise and mentor junior event planners, providing guidance and support. Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring seamless coordination of all elements and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Maintain strong relationships with venue partners and key industry contacts. Stay current with event industry trends, innovative décor, and culinary advancements. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and marketing strategies. Conduct post-event debriefings to identify successes and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering event planning, with demonstrated progression to a lead role. Proven track record of successfully managing and executing diverse and complex events. Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills. Strong creative vision and a passion for event design and innovation. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Experience in budget management and financial tracking. Team player with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful catering events is highly desirable.
