Job Description

Join us in revolutionizing customer experiences with our client, a global leader in cloud contact center software. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers the development and deployment of software used by thousands of customers worldwide. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Terraform and at least one public cloud platform. Responsibilities: Support the management and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. Assist in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services. Contribute to the design and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Work with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Helm to support deployment automation and orchestration. Write and maintain automation scripts; familiarity with Python is a plus. Monitor system health using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK). Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices. Communicate effectively in English with team members across India and Portugal. Work primarily in India Standard Time (IST) with overlap for coordination with the Portugal-based team. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering (internship or project-based experience also considered). Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (compute, networking, IAM). Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm and container orchestration. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and GitLab pipelines. Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system administration. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams in different time zones. Flexibility to work in India hours with some overlap with the Portugal-based team. Eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. Nice to have: Exposure to other deployment automation tools is an advantage. Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) is a plus.
