Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex telecom software applications. Architect robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet stringent performance and reliability requirements. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project plans. Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to our platforms. Drive the adoption of agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices. Ensure the security and integrity of developed software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed software systems, preferably in the telecoms domain. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go. Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services. Familiarity with telecommunications protocols and concepts (e.g., SIP, VoIP, SS7) is a significant advantage. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience working in an agile development environment. Ability to commute to our Atlanta, Georgia, US office as required by the hybrid work policy.
